Position Summary:
Responsibilities include providing guidance to resolve particular operations issues or implement projects, the consistent collaboration with the Manufacturing Transformation team during the preparation, diagnostic, planning and implementation stages, while incorporating safety and quality/sanitation standards in a continuous improvement environment.
Successful candidate will be a change leader, results-oriented team player, must have very strong commitment, solid interpersonal skills and intercultural sensitivity.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and waste reduction
  • Conduct process studies to discover opportunities for increased line effectiveness
  • Prepare statistical analysis of process capability to implement improved controls
  • Provide assistance in design and execution of various projects (systems and floor)
  • Facilitate and coordinate training for the supervisors/managers
  • Provide coaching/feedback for supervisors/front-line managers and associates to drive change and improve the site’s culture and performance
  • Supports without hesitation General Plant Safety, Food Safety, Food Defense Initiatives and Good Manufacturing
  • Practices with an understanding that these are absolutes and are Priority #1.
  • Ensure process compliance and appropriate CI tools are in place and fully utilized in order to facilitate associate empowerment and promote a culture of data driven decision making
  • Ensure Transformation is the new organizational mindset
  • Ensure best practices exchange

Job Requirements

Education and Work History:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food/Baking Science, Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
  • Two or more years of supervisor/manager experience and direct manufacturing experience
  • Must be willing to submit to a background screening
  • Availability for traveling/relocation
  • Hard working and entrepreneurial
  • Ability to connect with people across hierarchies and develop strong relationships
  • Must possess strong leadership, computer, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Ability to analyze data
  • The ability to help the transformation team throughout the bakery to achieve the goals
