Position Summary:
Support the audit process in an efficient way that allows the audit team to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of Grupo Bimbo corporate governance, risk management and internal control by identifying improvement opportunities and recommendations.
Position Responsibilities:
• Planning
o Support gathering and analyzing information of the processes to be audited to detect possible areas of risk, performance problems, trends, best practices, among others
o Document and understand the regulations applicable to the auditable process
• Execution
o Gather and analyze missing planning information (when applicable)
o Participate in interviews or workshops to document process flows or any other document necessary to achieve an understanding of the process, its risks, and controls
o Execute audit tests in accordance with the procedure set out.
o Discuss and validate results and recommendations with a Audit Manager
o Document the findings and recommendations in Pentana (Audit Management Software)
o Obtain and document action plans in Pentana (Audit Management Software)
• Reporting
o Support with final modifications to the draft report
• Follow - up
o Inform the Audit Manager of the status of action
o Follow up on pending action plans
• General activities within the function
o Formalize and complete the personal development and training plan in GB Talent
o Perform properly and on time other processes required by the personnel area, for example: definition of goals, evaluation of goals, etc.
o Support the team in administrative tasks
o Comply with global and functional policies that apply
Required Experience and Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or Engineering Degree (In Food, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, etc.)
• 2 years of experience in areas related to auditing. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
• Knowledge in Supply Chain process
Required Skills and Knowledge:
• 2+ years’ experience in any of the processes of the Supply Chain
• Knowledge of Oracle (INV, WIP, BOM) would be an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Offices
• Food Safety Certification (BRC, SQF, FSS22000, etc.)
• Lean (Green, Yellow, Black Belt)
• Ability to travel 50% of the year (Domestic and International)
