Inventory Control Clerk- Montebello, CA

  • Stores and logs material within a storage facility using a forklift truck, hoist, or other material handling equipment.

  • Plans and organizes proper storage for release and delivery of materials, parts, components, and tooling to specific departments

  • Will follow verbal and written instructions

  • Performs cycle counts and inventory audits

  • Will enters receipt and issue of parts to jobs.

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area

  • Follows all ISO and Safety procedures.

  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

  • Works under general supervision.

  • Researches and reconciles inventory discrepancies.

  • Works with the Quality department to resolve Material Control problems.

Job Requirements

  • Preferably 3-5 years related experience in a Manufacturing Inventory control environment.

  • Communicate in English both written and verbally.

  • Must be able to demonstrate accurate basic math skills.

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but NOT required.

  • Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills with the ability to navigate around files.

  • Preferably have experience with MRP/ERP and Microsoft Office programs.

  • 5 S Knowledge a plus

  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • May work extended hours and/or weekends. Ability to work in a non- temperature condition
