Position Summary:

This position provides financial support of the Central Business Unit Logistics network by bringing visibility to operating performance, ensuring the accuracy of business results, and providing insights that drive key performance measures. The role functions as a business partner and analytical / financial resource. Key analytics include performance management, forecasting, and project analysis. The position is also responsible for maintaining the control environment ensuring the integrity of key processes and proper management of assets.  

Key Job Responsibilities:

•       Partner with all levels of Logistics management to provide financial insights, operational performance analysis, and identify risks/opportunities.

•       Responsible for the development of operational budgets, updating financial forecasts, and identifying key drivers of performance.

•       Main financial lead in Lowest Landed cost initiatives, management of third-party costs, and sourcing analyses to continually improve cost structure of Logistics operations.

•       Contribute to the post period close process that includes journal entry posting and operational cost analysis to identify / evaluate variances versus prior year and budget.

•       Manage regional productivity project tracker with accompanying financial analysis.

•       Support the development of CAPEX investments including business justification and financial impact with post completion audit.

•       Provides financial leadership in support of all strategic and business analysis.

•       Ensure adherence to financial and key business process controls and procedures. Will be the lead contact / coordinator for all audit activities.

•       Supports analysis for all regional real estate requirements including business justification and financial impact.


Job Requirements

Education and Work History:

•       Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.  A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted

•       5+ years’ financial experience 

•       3+ years’ financial experience in a manufacturing / supply chain environment


•       Travel 10%

•       Must have in-depth knowledge of operational financial planning & analysis

•       Working knowledge of ERP systems

•       Proficient with MS Office and Excel power user. Knowledge of Oracle financials and other business intelligence / reporting tools

•       Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

•       Must be able to plan & accomplish goals with limited supervision

•       Good communication skills; work well in teams

        •       Ability to relocate will provide for career growth
