Job Title: Manager, Revenue Growth Management


Basic Purpose and Scope:


The Manager, Revenue Growth Management provides analysis and insight to improve trade promotion efficiency to uncover opportunities for improved ROI, and influences tangible improvements for assigned categories for brands, Business Units, and Key Customers.  The person in the role will help design and deploy pricing realization / RGM tests at retail partners

Position Description :

§  Lead the development of the 4 -P’s strategies and tactical plans for the assigned categories.

§  In concert with media tactics, define a testing plan to pressure test elements of the RGM category leaders’ pricing realization strategy for a brand

§  Proactively work-with assigned Brand teams, Business Units and Key Customer Teams on AOP, developing price/promo strategies that maximize growth and ROI

§  Develop and deploy series of tests to understand best tactics of using commercial dollars – promo, media or other activation tactics

§  Engage with the front-line, customer teams and retailers to sell-in / design price and promo testing programs

§  Will work closely with a cross functional groups from Finance, Marketing, and Key customer teams in ongoing analysis of current year plan

§  Monitors current year risk and opportunities for ongoing adjustment to strategies and tactics to achieve plan

§  Lead Ad Hoc projects in and outside core responsibilities to build knowledge base within project that enhance company’s growth and /or profitability

§  Balances desire to move quickly in establishing capability with considerations of ROI, and onboarding of new teams

§  Help refine In-year dynamic management of media/trade budget

§  Reports to the VP Revenue Growth Management

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline preferred.  A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.

§  Minimum 5 years with CPG company in Revenue Management, Business Development, Trade Marketing, Brand Strategy and planning, Sales, Category Management or Trade Analytic roles

§  MBA preferred.

§  Proficient in Microsoft Office Products

§  Understanding of P&L management

§  Understanding of DSD environment

§  Knowledge in Agile Process, Database Analyst, and Project Management preferred

§  Strong problem-solving skills, technical skills and conceptual thinking abilities

§  Strong listening and communication skills

§  Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment

§  Ability to lead through influence and indirect authority with cross functional groups

§  Working knowledge of IRI/Syndicated Data and Existing BBU Systems

§  20% -25%   travel
