The Bimbo Bakeries USA Product Strategy Internship program affords students a remarkable opportunity to participate in fast-paced real world projects designed to further develop strategic project management, analytical problem solving, and managerial leadership skills. Mentors will be designated to guide Co-Op collaborations and project work in each area. Interns support Bimbo Bakeries in the development and execution of Product Strategy plans.

Primary responsibilities
Support Manager in day-to-day, cross functional meetings and communication with Sales, Operations and outside agencies about product strategy activities.
Support Brand Manager in key 2022 new product initiatives.
Lead cross functional calls including managing category sensory testing.
Participate and help coordinate the implementation of all sensory testing, including reporting and managing agency relationships.
Develop/train on analytical tools (Margin Minder, IRI and Incite) to facilitate report outs.
Member of international cross functional team to improve product quality and understanding attributes that drive purchase.
Develop new programs/procedures to understand consumer preference.
Support Brand Manager on miscellaneous projects including presentation preparation, coordination of sampling, etc.
Act as a passionate advocate for the team in every way possible.

Job Requirements

Knowledge/Experience
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree Program in Marketing, Communications or other related major.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidate should be capable of initiating and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.
Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to generate business insights from diverse data sources
Ability to organize and prioritize work, juggle several projects at once.
Self-motivation and a desire to learn a very interesting and challenging industry.
