Position Summary:

Position is responsible for the Foodservice Channel regional strategy, planning, pricing, and customer alignment for Central BU. The position will lead a Team of regional sales managers and provide strategic direction and guidance aligned to the Central BU and National Foodservice strategies.

Key Job Responsibilities:  

•       Works with and supports the Corporate Food Service Team as it relates to corporate strategy and planning.

•       Is directly responsible for managing Bids and Contracts in the Central BU, specifically products and pricing based on competitive activity and regional strategies.

•       Works closely with Director of Sales on regional strategies and planning as it relates to each of their specific regions.

•       Maintains and improves current Customer relationships as well as growing new potential customers.

•       Manages the SKU portfolio strategy for Foodservice.

•       Responsible for supplying regional Customers with required data and reports on a timely basis.

•       Supplies VP and Corporate Food Service with required Sales and Volume Reports on a needed basis as well as Forecast and Plan future Sales and Volume based on regional market goals.

•       Able to understand Food Service sale trends as it relates to pricing, products, and competitive activity, and sets a plan and strategy to execute against it.

•       Reports weekly sales data and Foodservice trends to the Sr. Leadership Team for Central BU.

•       Leads a Team of Regional Managers and Bid Coordinators providing strategic guidance, mentoring, coaching and development planning.

Job Requirements

Education and Work History:

•       Bachelor’s level degree – preferably in a business discipline or related field. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.

•       Minimum of 5 – 7 years of successful, progressive sales experience in Foodservice Sales.

•       History of growth experience within their field
