Position Summary:


The Sr. Manager Continuous Improvement for Supply Chain will lead region initiatives around improvement opportunities across the entire value chain – including but not limited to supply chain logistics, distribution, manufacturing operations, sales, and marketing.   The Sr. Manager Continuous Improvement for Supply Chain will be responsible for leading projects, sourcing and ensuring cost saving improvements are implemented across supply chain for the Central Business Unit. 

Key Job Responsibilities:

•       Document, track and report on progress and impacts of project schedules across the Business Unit.

•       Provide support to business in developing, defining and designing business processes by actively seeking ways to streamline and adapt existing processes.

•       Collaborate with all functions across the value chain to help find ways to create innovative cost-effective business processes based on internal or industry best practices.

•       Accountable for developing and/or leading implementation plans and standards for critical improvement processes.

•       Ensure a balance approach to near and long term needs – consult with the organizational leadership and subject matter experts to develop a roadmap alignment of process, people and technology solutions, advice on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities.

•       With Finance support, develop business cases.

Education and Work History:

•       Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.

•       5 years of business unit experience that includes working closely with cross-functional organizational end-to-end processes in the development and implementation of large-scale improvement efforts. 

•       Previous experience in business process re-engineering or business process improvement.

•       Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership

•       Demonstrated abilities in relationship management

•       Demonstrated abilities in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems. 

•       Experience in business process design and improvement initiatives including exposure and knowledge of process assessment (current state) and analysis to identify improvement opportunities and defining future state.
