Position Summary:

The BBU supply chain logistics paid intern program is a dynamic 12 week program that affords students a remarkable opportunity to participate in fast-paced, real world projects designed to further develop project management, analytical problem solving and managerial leadership skills. Mentors will be designated to each intern to guide collaboration and project work. Supply chain logistics interns will support business units in the development and execution of supply chain logistics operations, analysis and projects.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Students entering the supply chain logistics intern program will be placed into a BBU bakery or distribution center within one of BBU’s 7 business units and will report into that business unit. The goal of the internship program is to provide students working experience with a global company and exposure to supply chain leadership. Assigned projects will be "real life, value added assignments” that the student can relate to classroom learning. Bimbo will provide opportunities for personal and professional development and networking. Ultimately, this internship program is designed to build competencies for potential future placement into our organization upon graduation.

Education and Work History:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Engineering or related field
  • Co-op or intern experience in supply chain is a plus
  • Capable of interacting and effectively communicating with all levels of the organization, with the ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Travel may be required and will vary by project
