The Bimbo Bakeries USA Marketing Internship program affords students a remarkable opportunity to participate in fast-paced real world projects designed to further develop strategic project management, analytical problem solving, and managerial leadership skills. Mentors will be designated to guide Co-Op collaborations and project work in each area. Marketing Interns support Bimbo Bakeries in the development and execution of marketing plans.
The Thomas’ co-op will work directly with the English Muffins brand manager, supporting in day-to-day tasks including agency management, brand research, communication strategy and strategic planning for the entire Thomas’ brand.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support Brand Manager in day-to-day, cross functional meetings and communication with Sales, Operations and outside agencies about marketing programs.
Support Brand Manager in Key 2019/2020 Product Initiatives.
Work closely with Brand Team to align messaging and creative with the strategic brand positioning.
Participate and help coordinate the implementation of online consumer promotion efforts, including monthly Social Media Calendars, Website and e¬ mail consumer communications.
Monitor and report on program results, making recommendations for future promotions.
Develop/train on Analytical Tools (Margin Minder, IRI and Incite) to facilitate report outs.
Coupon development and tracking.
Competitive tracking for traditional media & reporting out to Team.
Compiling weekly Consumer feedback by bakery.
Participate in Weekly Friday Scoring Sessions.
Support Brand Manager on miscellaneous projects including presentation preparation, coordination of sampling, premiums, trade shows, etc.
Act as a passionate advocate for the Brand in every way possible.
