Position Summary:
• This position will work through the Center of Excellence (COE) led Frontline Onboarding program to help create and implement a standardized on-the-job training certification program (OJT) across a BBU region. Will collaborate with Training Coordinators, North American Talent Development Team and Bakery Leadership.
Objective:
• Provide structure and guidance through a standardized approach to OJT to enhance frontline onboarding and current associate ongoing training process
• Drive consistency of front-line associate training, onboarding cohort experience
• Accountability and empowerment for HRBP, Hiring Manager, Site Leadership & Trainers
• Driving home the idea of one-best-way to do things
Key Job Responsibilities: Technical & Generating Content
• Work with bakeries to finalize development of OJT training plan & content collection
o Build on existing SOP’s and conduct observation, consultation with front line
• Create knowledge base, training curriculum, lesson plans and other reference documentation (SOP’s, shadow, simulation, job aids, videos, OPL’s, visuals, certification levels) used to convey job/tasks.
• Work with the business to build the communication plan to implement OJT tools
• Looking for synergies with other locations for sharing best practices and content
• Manage skills development and replicate training program across assigned bakeries
• Participate as SME on requested Kaizen team problem solving events
• Training OJT instructors
• Spending time at the bakeries coaching the instructors and leadership on best training practices
• Reviewing trainee feedback and adjusting based on that feedback
• Complete missing target equipment Maintenance PM and Troubleshooting procedures
Key Job Responsibilities: Administrative
• Enable use of New Hire Onboarding Portal (SNOW)
o Execute change management plan to implement new BBU Onboarding Portal (training coordinator deployment)
• Coordinate with business partners, including Plant Leadership Team, Training Coordinator, Safety, and Human Relations to assure associates complete requirements (training coordinator)
• Partner with Plant Leadership Team to assess associate capabilities and provide necessary feedback on skill level or additional required training including supporting the build of the skill gap analysis
• Support retention initiatives at the facility
• Audit training program to ensure all KPIs are being met
• Travel commensurate with requirements throughout region
Perform other duties as assigned

• Comprehends adult learning
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with data entry, MS Word, Excel, Microsoft 365, Oracle, and other software/applications highly desired
• Must be able to work flexible work schedules when necessary
Education and Work History:
• Four-Year College Degree
• At least 5 years of experience desired in production environment and training role preferred
• A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted
