The Breakfast business is $1+ billion in annual sales with strategic brands that are positioned for continued annual growth. As such, the corresponding supply chain is a highly complex network of manufacturing plants, co-packers, distribution centers, and multi-channel customers.

In this dynamic environment we are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the performance of the Breakfast business from a supply chain perspective, delivering high quality products, On-time and In-full (OTIF) to our highly valued customers. Also, this leadership role will provide both strategic direction and alignment for this important business segment across the network. More specifically, this leader will play an integral part in designing the asset blueprint for the future. The individual will be an active dedicated participant of the high-performance Breakfast leadership team, consisting of the General Manager Breakfast, Marketing and Finance. Additionally, the role will require working collaboratively with all our Business Unit operations teams.

The role will report to John Lee.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Lead to help take this business to the next level – placing delicious and nutritious baked goods and snacks in the hands of all.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to Business Units to re-imagine manufacturing and co-pack strategy across the breakfast business.

  • Collaborate to implement new solutions to simplify manufacturing and co-pack footprint.

  • Responsible for alignment of capital planning and justification for the overall breakfast team.

  • Build processes and approaches to monitor performance, collaborate with business unit customers and monitor and ensure high levels of quality and order fill rates.
  • Collaborate with RGM, Marketing, and Customer Teams to monitor demand changes related to promotional activity, ACV distribution, and new innovation.

  • Build an SOP process to ensure visibility and alignment across the value chain.
  • Responsible for annual business planning.
  • Lead weekly/monthly meetings with Sales, marketing, packaging production, supply chain, and other teams as required.

  • Analyze KPIs and provide insights to drive business growth.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for business improvement and risks to performance.

  • Present at quarterly business reviews.

Job Requirements

  • 7 – 10 years Operations and Supply chain knowledge and experience in a leadership position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required

  • 2+ year experience in Operations, Logistics and Planning

  • Project Management skills and experience

  • Six Sigma/Process Improvement experience is a plus

  • Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Advanced Excel, Power Point, Intermediate Access).

  • Exceptional analytical and data-mining skills

  • Strong communication - written and verbal skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • CPG, food manufacturing/distribution is a plus
