The Director of RGM Analytics will lead the implementation and manage a multi-year transformation roadmap to advance BBU with the right capabilities including technology, toolkits, processes and RGM analytics to drive topline and bottom line growth. The right candidate will lead the TPM/TPO tool development along with providing analysis of trade promotion execution to uncover opportunities for improved ROI for Business Units and Key Customers. The candidate will work with leadership to build and execute the adoption strategy of tools and standards. The candidate must provide project management, strategic planning, and implementation support for key initiatives including providing analytical support, consulting and cross-functional implementation leadership. Strengths in product conceptualization, creative problem solving and strategic customer and stakeholder collaboration are key as is the ability to leverage fiscal resources, personnel talents and technology to implement solutions.

Position Description:

  • Leadership and oversight of the continued development and deployment of the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and Trade Promotion Optimization(TPO) Models for BBU.

  • Team performance management and career/talent development - Will manage a team of four as well as external consultants.

  • Develop and maintain consultative and collaborative relationships with the Directors of Sales Planning in proactively identifying and addressing Business Unit tool implementation and training plans.

  • Utilizes TPM/TPO models to identify and prioritize customer/category/brand opportunities to optimize trade ROI, BU margin, units and price realization.

  • Responsibility for reduction of forecast error.

  • Utilizing TPO model and IRI resources, organizes and conducts basic post promotion event analysis (frequency, rankings, competitive analysis).

  • Active participation with the RGM leadership team to help shape both the near-term and long-term commercial price/promo strategy.

  • Partner with corporate functional teams to drive current and future pipeline of technology.

  • Establish and foster industry analytics research and benchmarking relationships and partnerships to leverage CPG industry knowledge.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline, MBA preferred.

  • Minimum 8-10 years with CPG company in Revenue Management, Business Development, Business Strategy, Category Management or Trade Analytic roles.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

  • Knowledge in Agile Process, Database Analyst, and Project Management preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, technical skills and conceptual thinking abilities.

  • Strong listening and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.

  • Ability to lead through influence and indirect authority.

  • Working knowledge of IRI/Syndicated Data and Existing BBU Systems.

  • ~40% travel.
