Under the general direction of the IT Business Governance and Sourcing Leader manages daily operations of all financial and business-related responsibilities for the Business Technology team. The IT Business Leader coordinates, and manages a the IT accounting for IT functions and sub-functions.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Support IT Technology team through expense modeling and budget planning.
  • Provide financial analysis support on budgeting, invoicing, projects, vendor contracts and financial reports for technology spending on services and products.
  • Manages and coordinates development of expense and capital budgets, including short and long-range financial and business planning as it relates Business Technology.
  • Reviews department budgets and forecasts; perform analyses to understand variances and underlying trends, recommending action(s) as appropriate to close any gaps.
  • Prepares financial reports and analyses involving financial projections, available resources and prospective changes in programs; develop special financial models and analysis tools; conduct analyses; and advise on changes as appropriate.
  • Works with IT Business Governance leaders to establish key business metrics, forecast results, and create a robust performance reporting platform.

Job Requirements

  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field-MBA preferred (or equivalent work experience).Prior knowledge of IT accounting method and procedures.

  • Ability to conduct complex administrative studies, analyze processes and issues, and develop recommendations for improvement or resolution.

  • Experience with financial reporting tools and various systems used within the IT financial management domain (e.g. general ledgers, fixed assets, project/portfolio management, procurement);

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools esp. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Oracle ERP

  • Ability to track and resolve issues regarding Value Realization on specific projects and solutions

  • 7+ years of experience in a finance, business management, project management, accounting, budgeting or a related field. Experience working with Capital Expenditures.
