Lead Checker Position Summary:

 Facilitates the coordination of activities relating to the unloading of a truck and picking of orders.

Key Job Responsibilities:

•         Verifies product count received from the distribution center with Sales Center load sheets.

•         Plusses or cuts product from routes, as per bakery adjustments.

•         Responsible for the stacking of trays/dollies, re positioning empty racks and cleanup of warehouse area.

•         Responsible for staging and picking activities by store for Routes before they go to market

•         Verifies outgoing load against the route load sheets.

•         Responsible sales center accountability and inventory organization and tracking.             

Job Requirements

  • At least 1-year warehouse/distribution experience preferred

  • Must have good organizational and communication skills

  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures

  • At least 6 months’ experience leading and/or influencing others.

  • Excellent organizational, communication (written and oral) skills and detail-oriented.

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) 

  • A combination of training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted
