Responsible for clerical and some administrative duties for the Finance team at bakery.  Position requires ability to problem solve, maintain an organized approach to tasks and adherence to daily and weekly deadlines.   

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Track and input daily production numbers into AS400 system.  Monitor, update and report the plant waste numbers on a daily basis
  • Process invoices for outside vendors-code to correct accounts and research any discrepancies
  • Assist with PowerPoint presentations for BLT and other meetings as needed
  • Handle all payroll/Kronos issues. Verify bargaining associates’ weekly timecards.  Submit necessary manual payroll adjustments, perform historical edits in Kronos, generate weekly make-up checks and sort/group paychecks for distribution to supervisors
  • Order and maintain office and some plant supplies.  Reconcile all purchases by completing monthly activity log
  • Order lunches and clean up as needed
  • Handle UPS shipments as needed
  • Oversee safety shoe and eyeglass program for plant associates.  Track associate safety shoe purchases throughout calendar year, order safety shoes and schedule safety shoe truck visits
  • Participate in Company safety programs through membership in AE (Associate Engagement) team.  Create monthly safety topics and assist in implementation of safety awareness activities at plant
  • Complete other assigned duties from the Plant Manager and Finance Manager

Job Requirements

Education and Work History:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year college degree preferred  
  • A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and computer skills with working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint required
