The Program Manager is responsible for the management of significant, multi-disciplinary projects that require a broad knowledge of business process. The Program Manager supports the organization by: understanding objectives as they relate to both business and integration program goals; working with business and project leaders to ensure that work plans align with business objectives, are well developed, well understood and well executed; mentor and assist project leaders with project schedules, maintenance, and delivery of high quality results.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of all aspects of project management.

  • Work closely with the steering committee to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is well understood.

  • Lead meetings and working sessions with stakeholders, SME’s, and senior leaders to assist with: developing the business case; developing project plans using appropriate tools, identifying key deliverables and timelines; identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path items; taking action to troubleshoot problem areas.

  • Develop task and milestone level project plans to execute against strategic goals and vision.

  • Regularly analyze and report the progress of programs to leadership via executive level.

  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working in waterfall, iterative and agile development environments.

  • Strong understanding of business processes (accounting, finance, manufacturing, supply chain etc.)

  • Business analysis – process design (current vs. future state)

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, Visio

  • Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree preferable

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

  • Motivated self-starter able to operate on multiple, confidential, diverse fronts simultaneously with careful attention to detail.

  • Works under limited direction and independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

  • Must have intellectual curiosity and a willingness to delve into problems to understand root cause.
